ERP Managed To Provide Food Parcels To The Barokologadi Community Property Association (BCPA)

Towards the end of December 2020, ERP managed to provide food parcels to the Barokologadi Community Property Association (BCPA). This was an extension of our emergency food relief programme, launched in May 2020, as an immediate response to the varying levels of the Covid-19 induced lockdowns that drastically affected many of our beneficiaries, including in Madikwe, where the BCPA originates from. In total, we managed to feed 650 families through the provision of 650 food parcels. This included 100 food parcels that were delivered to orphans and child-headed households in the community. Looking forward to 2021, we anticipate implementing economic interventions to promote long term sustainability and self-sufficiency within the various BCPA villages, whilst also expanding on our conservation work with these communities. We extend our gratitude to Lesiba Masibe, Thami Mupawose, and Lennon Mavuwa who took time from their holidays to ensure that the food deliveries were done before Christmas.
